When was PRINCE2 last updated?
PRINCE2 was last updated in September 2023 when PeopleCert released PRINCE2 7th edition. PRINCE2 7 supercedes the 6th edition which was released in 2017.
With the latest changes to PRINCE2, the core method hasn't changed. The biggest change is the addition of a 'People' element, and the addition of 3 new management approaches (data and digital management, commercial management, and sustainability management).
PRINCE2 7th edition represents the latest evolution of PRINCE2, and should help organizations achieve better returns on investments from projects.
