What are PRINCE2 project controls?
PRINCE2 provides for two types of project controls to help decision-making and enable control within a project. These are event-driven controls and time-driven controls.
Event-driven controls are based on specific events occurring within a project, such as the completion of a particular stage or the submission of a report.
Time-driven controls are based on pre-agreed times within the project plan, such as regular meetings or updates with the project manager.
Both types of controls help to ensure that the project is on track and progressing as planned, and they provide a framework for making decisions and taking action as needed to keep the project on track and achieve its goals.
