Do you need a degree to be a program manager?

No, you do not necessarily need a degree to be a program manager. While a degree may be beneficial, many program managers have gained the necessary skills and experience through on-the-job training and professional development courses such as MSP or PgMP®. It is important to note, however, that some employers may require a degree in a related field.

"PMP" and "PgMP" are registered marks of Project Management Institute, Inc.
