Telford Town Centre is the Telford business centre, located off Junction 5 of the M54 motorway, which was developed in the 1980s. It is home to Telford & Wrekin Council’s administrative headquarters, which moved from the old Civic Offices (dating from the mid-1970s) to Addenbrook House on Ironmasters Way in December 2012. The huge Telford Shopping Centre (and the accompanying Town Park), numerous office blocks, such as the blue office towers (Telford Plaza), and the Windsor Life building.

Paul Blackthorne is an English actor who was born on March 5, 1969. In England, Blackthorne got his start in acting through television advertisements. His breakout ad in the UK was the highly successful Grim Reaper promo for Virgin Atlantic. A slew of radio advertising followed.
Edith Mary Pargeter OBE BEM (28 September 1913 – 14 October 1995), often known by her pen name Ellis Peters, was an English novelist who specialised in history and historical fiction. She was particularly recognised for her translations of Czech classics. She is arguably best known for her historical and current murder mysteries, particularly her mediaeval detective series The Cadfael Chronicles.
Telford is home to several well-known amateur, semi-professional, and professional sports clubs. Telford United F.C. represented the town. Between 1969 and 2004, the club folded due to financial difficulties and was reformed the same year as AFC Telford United. Between 2004 and 2020, AFC Telford United’s home ground, the New Bucks Head, was used as the stadium for home matches played by Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C.’s under-23 team.
