Theatre and festivals
Glasgow is home to many theatres, including the King’s Theatre, the Theatre Royal and the Citizens Theatre as well as museums and art galleries, the largest being the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, the Hunterian Museum and Art Gallery, and the Gallery of Modern Art. Most of the museums and galleries in Glasgow are free to enter.

Architecture
Very few examples of medieval Glasgow architecture remain. Only 2 structures from this period survive, the 15th-century Provand’s Lordship and 13th-century St. Mungo’s Cathedral.
Glasgow has many examples of Victorian architecture including the Glasgow City Chambers, the parts of the University of Glasgow, and the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum.
